Presidential Hockey Club

Käpylä Maanantai Presidential Hockey Club is a recreational ice hockey team in Helsinki, Finland. All good people are welcome to join the club.

TEAM & PLAYERS

We play league games with one team in Harraste-Divari (no slapshots). Our players come from all kinds of backgrounds: some grew up playing junior or competitive hockey, others picked up the game as adults, and some are pond-hockey players who just love being on the ice. That mix is the point, and everyone gets to play.

There are two ways to join:

  • PRACTICE ONLY: Internal sessions and scrimmages, no league games. A relaxed way to get regular ice time.
  • PRACTICE + GAMES: Internal sessions plus Harraste-Divari league games with the team.

ICE TIMES & LOCATION

Location: Veikkaus Arena (formerly Hartwall Arena), practice rink downstairs – Areenankuja 1, 00240 Helsinki
Dates: Fri Aug 7th – End of April

  • Fridays (21:00–22:30): 1.5 h internal scrimmage.
  • Saturdays (21:00–22:30): Drills, practice, and scrimmage. Once the season starts, home games will be played in this slot.

Registrations to sessions and games via Nimenhuuto app.

FEES (Aug–Apr)

  • Games and practices: 495 €/season (55 €/month)
  • Practice only: 300 €/season (33 €/month)

HOW TO JOIN

  1. Interested in joining? Call or WhatsApp Svante: +358-440-SVANTE.
  2. Come and try it out: Get the 2026–27 Ice Hockey membership (26,27 €) from the club shop and fill in the registration form after the purchase.
  3. After that you’ll get access to Nimenhuuto and the team WhatsApp group.
